Choosing and adjusting your wheelchair
Thanks to my Light Active, I often go for strolls with my wife and grandchildren. We take a picnic and go to the local park or out into the countryside. I really relish these times as I don’t have to tire myself physically.

This small compact power pack adds its force to that of your arms. As it is a form of assistance, you can continue to work yourself as little or as much as you like. It’s up to you to choose from moment to moment.

If you can get your chair in and out of your car, you can easily get the Light Active in and out as each element weighs no more than 8.5 kg.

Mounting the Light Active onto your chair takes
about 20 seconds.

The Light Active lets you improve your freedom of movement whilst choosing how much power you use. Simply increase the power, for example, when you come up to a hill and continue to use your arms as much or as little as you want.

You can still do wheelies and you can get around even more easily without having to resort to an electric wheelchair. It is so discreet and it remains virtually silent.

The speed of the Light Active is controlled with a dial positioned near your hand. The steering is controlled either with your hands on the hand rims as normal or by using a steering stick mounted on either the right or left front castor as you choose.
